While we work to stop the spread of COVID-19 by physical distancing and focus on meeting local needs, it is as important as ever to stay connected with global efforts to fulfil women’s human rights and achieve gender equality.
It takes dedicated attention to sustain solidarity across the different settings in which we as women human rights defenders work. And sometimes it is hard to keep track of all the international processes and make sense of the jargon.
This live webinar introduced the main current processes (the Commission on the Status of Women, the Beijing Platform for Action 25 year review and Generation Equality) and update participants on where these processes are up to, as well as opportunities to get involved.
